The purpose of this privacy policy is to describe how FAQhacker collects, uses, discloses, and secures personal data when using the FAQhacker extension. The use of information collected through our service is limited to the service for which the client has engaged FAQhacker. FAQhacker does not release personal data without permission and is not in the business of selling information.

By accessing or using our software, you agree to this Privacy Policy

Information collected and used

FAQhacker is a tool that lets you upload content to our software and helps your team visualize that content (via our Chrome Extension) in the systems that they frequently use. Your uploaded content may be viewed by other users if you allow that through the settings in the extension. That content will only be viewable to the individuals that you allow.

The personal information you submit to FAQhacker may include, but is not limited to your name, email, address, phone number, usernames, passwords. This information is typically collected when you request to be contacted, request help or support, want a demonstration, notifications about your uploaded content or request to sign up for services provided by FAQhacker. This information will be used only by FAQhacker to provide you with the requested services and support needed.

When operating the FAQhacker service, we may use “cookies” and other similar technologies. A cookie is a small piece of data that is given to the user’s browser when you access the FAQhacker service. Our cookies are utilized to provide more functionality to our service and help analyze how FAQhacker is being used. For example, FAQhacker may set a cookie on your browser to allow you access to our service without having to remember and frequently re-enter your login credentials for a single FAQhacker visit. We never use cookies to collect personal information without your permission.

How your information will be used

We will display certain personal information in the profile area of the extension. We may use information collected automatically (through a cookie) to improve your experience as a user or to improve our products and services.

Protecting Personal information

Personally identifiable information is stored on a separate server as a security precaution and our site is SSL encrypted. Since, however, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information our users transmit to our site; however, we do everything in our power to protect your company and your applicant's information.

All user information is restricted by administrative logins to the FAQhacker platform or access to our private API and controlled by the corporate office. Only administrators who have permission are granted access to personally identifiable information. All JobMatch LLC (owner of FAQhacker) employees are kept up-to-date on security and privacy practices. Additionally, the servers that store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment that can only be accessed with a secure login.

Data collected by our site or services is stored and hosted by Google AppEngine. Here is a link that shows all the security certificates associated with our hosting and storage of data: https://cloud.google.com/security/compliance/.

When operating the FAQhacker browser extension, the executable code within the extension makes web service calls to the FAQhacker System API over HTTPS (SSL) connection using TLS 1.2 and password. The data collected or retrieved is not stored within the browser, the browser extension, or on the local system of the user.
